We can offer a practical forklift hire service to customers and clients in all Hampshire, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and South East areas over short-term and long-term periods, starting from just 24 hours and running up to renewable annual contracts. Our forklifts have ergonomic designs which make them more comfortable for trained operators to use.
Modern hydraulic systems and high output engines benefit your business immediately and we can supply forklift hire across a range of high-performance models, battery or diesel, which are ideal for all jobs where heavy lifting and loading take place.
This forklift service includes:
- 1 to 5 tonne electric counterbalanced forklifts with anti-rollback systems
- 1 to 5 tonne LPG counterbalanced forklifts for optimal fuel efficiency
- 1 to 5 tonne diesel counterbalanced forklifts for use in restricted spaces
- 1.5 to 2 tonne narrow aisle trucks with a high reach

We specialise in forklift sales and the Nexen range is our preferred brand of lifting equipment. Gatwick Forklifts can supply to you in any volume, and we have a choice of new or used models available. If you are new to forklift services and don’t know which type of model you’ll need, we can send somebody along to your premises to inspect conditions, the type of work involved and how much lifting you’ll undertake using our equipment.
From there, our representative can make a suitable recommendation on the make and model you’ll need. We’ll also put you in touch with our forklift sales department to arrange purchase, finance and delivery.

This results in tax benefits, and you will eventually own the forklift while paying for it through an affordable contract.
Finance Lease
This forklift service spreads capital payments for customers and clients in the Hampshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex areas, and you can cancel the agreement at the end of the first contract period should you need to. Please be aware that a finance lease package won’t cover servicing or repair work under insurance, but our forklift sales team can always discuss a plan to best suit your needs.

Forklift Training
We tailor our forklift services in ways that help us to share our industry experience. Gatwick Forklifts runs a series of forklift training courses, all approved by the Road Transport Industry Training Board (RTITB) and the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE). We aim to improve operator safety and understanding to prevent accidents in the workplace.

Warehouse Design
Gatwick Forklifts can perform full warehouse fitouts for commercial and industrial clients in Crawley and the South East. This addition to our forklift services includes the supply of quality fixtures and fittings approved by the Storage Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA), which are also BS EN ISO 9000 certified.
Our warehouse designers and technicians can install the following:
